What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is an age-old healing art and science that utilizes "essential oils" from plants and herbs to help balance body and mind.

We all know that compounds from plants can have effects upon our bodies, like caffeine in tea and coffee giving us more energy. Modern scientists are now discovering what holistic healing practitioners have known for years...that nature has provided us with care for all our needs.

Does smelling things really heal medical problems?

The effects of true aromatherapy stretch far beyond smell. The all-natural pure essential oils in Spa Therapy Body Oil have been chosen for their natural chemical abilities to promote wellbeing (see Indications). The synergy of these oils just happens to smell heavenly as well!

Inhalation is a proven rapid delivery system for introducing substances into our body. Our skin also absorbs essential oils and passes them quickly into our bloodstream.

Many products springing up in the commercial marketplace today are labeled "aromatherapy", but contain synthetic fragrance chemicals. These do not have the same healing effects of the natural compounds they imitate, but they smell great and are nice for fragrancing the home.

What is the best way to store Spa Therapy Body Oil?

Storing Spa Therapy Body Oil in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight will help preserve its life and effectiveness. Our bottles were specially chosen to help protect the ingredients. NEVER leave Spa Therapy Body Oil in a hot car; intense heat destroys the oil quickly.

Is Spa Therapy Body Oil okay for sensitive skin?

Our Premium Oil contains only the purest and highest quality ingredients, and is formulated with care to be gentle and soothing. We have never had a report of any problems caused by the use of Spa Therapy Body Oil.

If you have a history of sensitivity to plant-based products we recommend a patch test on a small area of skin. If it turns pink, or if the smell offends you, your body may be saying "Spa Therapy Body Oil is not for me." We are happy to issue a full refund if this is the case. Also, the essential oil of lemongrass may cause sensitization in individuals who have frequent and heavy exposure to sunlight; we encourage those people to use Spa Therapy Body Oil with care.

Where can I buy Spa Therapy Body Oil?

We will be posting availability on our website as retail locations pick up our line. Right now, you can enjoy the convenience of secure online credit card purchasing, and we will ship Spa Therapy Body Oil to you, or you may stop by our offices if you are in the Los Angeles area. Please email us to make arrangements.

Is Spa Therapy Body Oil "water dispersable"?

The only way we know to make an oil "water dispersable" is by adding a surfactant (soap!) to the mix. The thought of massage clients leaving the table wearing a coat of soap makes us cringe.

If you are concerned about the maintenance of your sheets, we recommend washing as immediately as possible, in the hottest water, using a good quality laundry soap. Add a half-cup of ammonia for tough oily stains. AVOID chlorine bleach, which may cause spotting.

All my clients want to buy Spa Therapy Body Oil. What do I tell them?
